Awesome day.

Yesterday went very well. Everybody respected my authority and I was able to teach all of them the things that they would need to know in order to run a class. They were all extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I can tell that its going to be a very easy going summer! Then at dinner I didn't have anything to bitch about, so we just spent the whole evening joking around, it was quite pleasant.

On my way home my leg was on fire! All that sitting really made my pain excruciating. So I stopped in Redondo Beach to visit my favorite holistic remedies store for some emu oil. Its not really emu oil, its basically icy hot, but 10 times stronger, with twice the minty freshness! As I was walking out of the store, I saw Eddie coming out of the barber shop right next door!

For those of you that don't know, Eddie is this guy this cute gay guy I have known for years, and I ran into him on Cinco de Mayo then I totally cock blocked myself with him!

He saw me immediately and ran up to say hi. We talked about what was ailing me, and then we talked about our days. He was planning on going home and watching some movies, and I was planning on going home and rubbing emu oil on my lower back and my leg. We decided to go to his house and combine the two. It was nice, we watched movies and he massaged my leg with the cream every hour on the hour. And he did it a lot better than I would have been able to do myself. Around two in the morning, he wrapped my arms around him, and we fell asleep. It was great. Nothing sexual about it, it was just extremely comforting.

This morning he made me breakfast, and then we ate a delicious meal. After we were done he gave me one more rub down, and we then we went for a walk on the beach. We talked about all sorts of things. I had questions, and he had answers, and he also had a few questions of his own. It was amazing and completely unexpected. I am having problems articulating how special and important last night was to me. I just can not believe how much I have changed in a month. Because this time a month ago I was running away, but now I am not. I am really hoping that this is the beginning of something big. I am off to the AVP finals now!

It seems like you had an almost perfect day yesterday. I am very happy for you. It seems like you have been having nothing but good days since your incident with your mother. Myabe its God's way of apologizing for somebody claiming those things in his name! I like this new found confidence that you have found in yourself, it suits you well.

awwww! That is sooo adorable! I think that its so cute that you foind a boy to be happy with! That is awesome. No one has ever made me breakfast, and I have been dating longer than you have been alive! Haha. But in all seriousness your friend eddie sounds like a very special guy. I think that you are having such a hard time figuring out whats going on with this guy, because your head needs to catch up with your heart! Give it some time, but I am pretty sure that you are going to understand what I mean very sooon. Have fun at the AVP's!

I have never tried hoilistic remedies, I guess that it might be something a little bit more mainstream in a place like Los Angeles, but give me chemicals and FDA approved substanes over herbs and stuff they pull out of a rinocerous ass any day! Sorry, that "Emu oil" sounds like it works wonders, especially for your sex life, but I am all about the icy hot over something that is named after the ugliest animal ever! Besides that I think that you have had a really nice week. I am happy for you!

So would it be right to assume that this is a guy that you are probably going to be starting a relationship with? That's so cute! I love new relationships! I wish you luck. And I would have to agree with your whole circle theory. I think that circles just make things look more complete. That is why they look better!

I have never heard of emu oil! I think that I am going to go out and get some. I have those aches and pains that only icy hot can cure a lot! And it would be great to have something a little bit stronger when that pain just won't go away. That Eddie sounds like a sport for rubbing your leg, my boyfriend hates the smell with a passion and never wants to help me out! But I love him anyway.

I was happy to read that your training session went so well. It was clear, in your previous post, that you had prepared quite well for today's event.

I've never heard of "emu oil" either. I'm just wondering if it helped a little or a lot with your pain situation. Sometimes holistic remedies do seem to work better than FDA approved, pharmaceutical highly over-priced stuff.

Oh yeah, your evening and morning with Eddie made me jealous.

Emu oil is amazing! I used it a lot in high school after Junior lifegaurd training and work outs with the surf team. And this stuff on my aching muscles is like heaven! It works just like icy hot, its just a lot stronger.

I think that a person like you could only exist in California! You surf, work as Sea World, use holistic remedies, and you are always at the beach! You have such an interesting life man! I wonder what it would be like to be you for a day! Not that I am some kind of crazy stalker guy or anything like that, I am just saying that I have a small crush on you and your lifestyle! haha!

Eddie sounds like a really nice person. Its nice to hear that you are happy with him. I hope that this is the beginning of something really nice for you. I am a little bit skeptical about this "emu oil" though... It just seems really disgusting! I am sorry, I really am, it just sounds awful though! And I just don't think that anything would ever change my mind, I am sorry but EMU OIL!? It just sounds wrong!

Your post made me smile. Its good to read that you are enjoying yourself as a gay man! This is when things get good. You meed somebody that you like, and then you guys make each other feel good about being in this world for awhile. Its also good to hear that your training went over well. I hate public speaking with a passion! If I were put in charge of the group, I don't think that anything would have gottne done! so good for you. I am not sure how I feel about this emu oil though... I think that they should change the name, and then it would be a lot more pleasant to the ear and do better in the market place!

I love it when other people care enough to take care of me when I am hurt! Its a good feelimg. I am happy that you day of training went well. Also I have noticed that you have had a lot of skeptics when you mentioned emu oil! Let me just let all of you people out there in cyberspace know that emu oil rocks out loud! that stuff works like magic!

I am curious about the AVP's who won!? Was it a good day for games?? Your friend Eddie sounds awesome! I want one just like him. I am not even going to bring up the emu oil, even though I just did. I am just going to say that there's nothing like rubbing all over a hot guy and having an actual legitamate excuse to do so! Not that I am gay or anything, I just like the way a slippery guy feels in my hands...

I like your little picture today. I am also a HUGE fan of Emu Oil! All athletes need to keep some of this magic cream part of their essentials! This stuff works wonders on an aching muscle! ANd that Eddie sounds pretty cool also. I think taht you totally lucked out, there are very few people taht I know who will spend thier evening rubbing emu oil on my leg, acually besides my om ( and that's kind of wierd) I can not think of anybody! Great now you have made me feel bad! I hope taht you are satisfied.

You are an interesting character eric! I love your blog, because it is very different from some of the other stuff that is out there. I like how personal you are, and how raw the emotions taht you are feeling are. You do a good job of not censoring your feelings when you write things down, and that is very refreshing. I am glad to hear that everythign went well in your training and I hope that you have an easy summer leading your staff to a successful time. I look forward to reading about it.

I loved this post! I am soo happy for you. It sounds like you had an awesome day. Good for you. I love it when I have a day where everything falls into place. I am sorry to read that your back and leg is still killing you. But it seems like this time your injury was kind of a plus. Now that's what I call turning a frown upside down! haha
